What will the finished product be like?

Our homes are just that, they are luxurious ranch style homes styled to fit into residential neighborhoods.  They feature living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, fireplaces, libraries, bedrooms and a serene outdoor space. Each home houses between 8 and 16 residents – much smaller than the other resort like options that exist in the market.  A smaller size combined with industry leading care ratios means residents interact with one another more readily – we become a family of families, The intimacy we create is a distinct environment. from the intimidating feel of larger corporate housing. If this sounds like home, that is exactly what it will be for our residents.

Our small footprint is important – it allows us to provide individualized care because our caregivers have fewer residents to tend to at any given time.  This also allows us to focus heavily on preventative care.  Being a Memory Care facility with an Assisted living option means our typical resident needs help but does not need Skilled Nursing – as a result our focus on preventive mental and physical care allows our residents to live a fuller life.

The care aspect is coupled with a home layout that restricts the spread of infectious diseases. in a few ways.  first, We have planned a specialized room for family visits that can be decontaminated before and after a visit , Second, non caregivers, like maintenance and food delivery take place without having to interact with our residents. Lastly, simply by having a smaller footprint per home, the number of outsiders a resident interacts with is far fewer than other options in the marketplace and this improves infection control.
